Welcome Block is run by KRBY Company in Ontario, Canada. This page explains what we collect and why. Questions: hello@welcomeblock.ca.

Sign owners

• Your email address and a securely hashed password, to run your account.
• What you put on your guest card, including photos. This is shown publicly to anyone who scans your sign.
• A record of changes to your signs (for example, when a sign was activated or released), for support.

Guests who scan a sign

We don't ask guests for anything and don't use advertising or tracking cookies. To prevent abuse, such as someone guessing activation codes, we keep a scrambled form of the visitor's IP address for up to two days.

Launch list

If you join the launch list, we keep your email to tell you when Welcome Block is available. Reply to that email to be removed.

Who processes data for us

Our website and photos are hosted by Vercel, our database by Neon, and account emails (such as password resets) are sent through Resend. These providers may store data outside Canada.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your guest card anytime, and release a sign to remove its details. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email us.
